Sabrina Pasterski is a Cuban-American theoretical physicist known for her remarkable achievements at a young age. She built and flew her own airplane before she even had a driver’s license. Her early passion for science led her to study at MIT, where she graduated with a perfect GPA, and later at Harvard.
During her research, she co-discovered the “spin memory effect,” a phenomenon related to gravitational waves and spacetime. Today, she leads a major research project exploring the idea that the universe might be a hologram.
Her work aims to solve one of the biggest challenges in physics: combining general relativity with quantum mechanics.
